My husband and I are Sydney siders and often look for ways to play tourist in our own city. Although we know the city well, we were impressed with how much of the city you got to explore. We were even surprised about some history that we didn’t know. We thought it was great. If you’re a visitor, you’ll think it’s excellent!

You don't know what you don't know about your own city, and this tour proved the old saying.
A couple suggestions: 1) Add the War Memorial in Hyde Park to the start of your tour 2) Give yourself time to do the (free) audio tour of the Hyde Park Barracks. I'd suggest an hour minimum

Clear, concise and informative. It was a excellent choice of route which takes in the highlights of Sydney.

Picked up flyer on a whim and checked it out. I love doing puzzles and thought it would be a nice way to learn some Sydney history. It was even better than I had hoped. Puzzles were a good mix from somewhat obvious to brain crunching which is what I was envisioning. Now I know much more history about the Harbour and rocks area. Thank you.

I did this tour on my own, and was amazed to discover so much about Sydney in a short time, despite having living here my whole life. The puzzles were tricky too which I liked!

The rocks area has so much history, we particularly enjoyed visiting the alleyways and little streets. Had a tasty coffee from the French bakery.

Luckily my wife and I found this tour before we explored the Rocks area, was really interesting hearing about the area otherwise we would have probably missed a lot of things

Was great to get out, learn about our cities history & the puzzles got the kids thinking. Brought our dog along & it was suitable for him too, with no spots he couldn’t access.

This was an excellent free quick tour of Sydney that I would recommend for single travelers and couples. The puzzles were fun too.

What a great little find this app was. We are from Sydney and learnt a little bit at each stop that we didn’t know previously. We would recommend this app to others and will be doing the other tours as well.

The audio tour is the best way to experience the old town area! Without the tour, you miss out on learning much of the history and significance of the different spots. It was easy to listen to, and I loved that I could do it at my own pace and was able to linger in my favorites places. We stopped and had lunch halfway at a lovely little french cafe / patisserie (go there!). Would highly recommend it to others visiting The Rocks!
